    Description

The Certeza GL-110 Blood Glucose Monitor is a highly precise, user-friendly diagnostic medical instrument designed for regular monitoring of capillary blood glucose levels. Engineered with an advanced dynamic enzyme system featuring Glucose Dehydrogenase (GDH-FAD) chemistry, it offers extensive reaction stability unaffected by variations in blood oxygen levels. The system features a large, easy-to-read LCD screen, auto-coding mechanisms to eliminate manual calibration errors, and automatic strip ejection functionality, providing laboratory-grade diagnostic clarity for optimal daily diabetes care.

    Ingredients

The diagnostic device includes integrated electronic hardware. The dedicated system consumables feature:

    • Glucose Dehydrogenase enzyme matrix (GDH-FAD)

    • Electrochemical carbon-based electrodes

    Drug Class

In-Vitro Diagnostic Medical Device / Glucose Monitoring System

    Dosage Form

Blood Glucose Meter (1 Kit including Glucometer, Lancing Device, Lancets, and Carrying Case)

    Uses

It is used to test, screen, and log metabolic glucose indexes including:

    • Daily self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) for Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes mellitus

    • Rapid quantitative measurement of extreme glycemic variances (Hyperglycemia and Hypoglycemia)

    • Routine diagnostic tracing of capillary glucose variations in home-care and clinical health environments

    Dosage

To be used as per doctor's prescription or tracking mandates (ranging from 1 to 4 times daily depending on individual health profiles).

    In case of Overdose

Not applicable to quantitative monitoring hardware. However, if highly unexpected glucose results (e.g., repeatedly outside the standard 20–600 mg/dL validation spectrum) appear on the screen, consult a doctor or contact SMS Pharmacy support immediately to eliminate systemic emergency risks.

    Missed Dose

Perform your blood glucose check as soon as you remember. Ensure you coordinate your metabolic profiling times closely around primary target tracking windows (such as fasting or 2 hours post-meal) as outlined by your health specialist.

    How To Use

To be used as per doctor's prescription and device guidelines. Always observe strict diagnostic hygiene:

    1. Wash hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water and dry them completely.

    2. Insert a fresh, genuine Certeza GL-110 test strip into the meter strip slot. The device will turn on automatically.

    3. Clean the lancing site. Use the calibrated lancing device to yield a minuscule 0.6 µL drop of fresh capillary whole blood from the fingertip.

    4. Gently apply the sample drop to the target reaction tip of the test strip. The chamber will draw up the blood smoothly.

    5. The countdown will begin, displaying highly accurate results on screen within 5 seconds. Press the strip ejector button to safely discard the single-use strip.

    When Not to Use

Do not use in case of:

    • Incompatibility with non-genuine diagnostic strips (the device works explicitly with Certeza GL-110 Test Strips)

    • Performing systemic neonatal blood screening profiles, unless directed under a specialist physician's guidance

    • Severe diagnostic environments where the device hardware has been visibly fractured or exposed to extreme moisture entry

    Side Effects

Side effects are rare and limited completely to local lancing site interaction, including:

    • Minor localized tenderness or tissue soreness at the prick point

    • Mild temporary bruising or localized skin hardening from high-frequency testing

    • Mild surface irritation or localized redness

    Precautions & Warnings

For diagnostic in-vitro tracking outside the body only. Keep the device dry and clean from biological fluids or grease residues. Never share your lancing device or lancets with others due to the immediate risk of cross-contamination and bloodborne pathogen transmission. Ensure the batteries are replaced promptly when the low-power indicator displays to preserve system processing stability.

    Drug Interactions

    Do not use if:

    • The advanced GDH-FAD enzyme eliminates interference from non-glucose sugars like maltose or galactose. However, if undergoing systemic therapies with extraordinarily high concentrations of local reducing chemicals (such as toxic concentrations of Acetaminophen or Ascorbic Acid), check with your medical expert to monitor for minor electrochemical variations.

    Food Interactions

The food interactions that should be considered while using the Certeza GL-110 Meter are:

    • Food consumption does not affect the electronic mechanisms of the device. However, always ensure your puncture site is thoroughly cleansed of surface food stains, syrups, or fruit residues prior to testing, as external sugars will instantly trigger an artificially elevated blood glucose reading.

    Storage/Disposal

Store the meter device inside its protective carrying case at a regulated temperature between 10°C and 40°C. Protect the internal microprocessor from high humidity, wet conditions, freezing points, or direct sunlight. Safely dispose of used lancets and contaminated strips inside dedicated biohazard sharps containers. Keep out of reach of children.

    Control Drug

    Quick Tips, if any

    • Utilize the built-in test memory function to securely trace your previous glycemic trends over time, helping your doctor adjust your lifestyle or therapy plans.

    • Change your lancing site across different fingers for every test session to minimize the development of sensitive calluses or localized skin discomfort.
